Tertiary Snow Bash

Update - Snow Bash cancelled

Turoa mountain staff have informed USNZ that due to current poor weather conditions which are expected to continue and also the present condition of the ski field which has not allowed all the courses required for this event to be put in place, the Snow Bash will unfortunately not go ahead.

Though we are disappointed that this event has been cancelled, we are in the process of ensuring the Tertiary Snow Bash will go ahead next year. The staff at Turoa Ski Field are very keen to continue to work with us to make sure this happens.

The 2008 Tertiary Snow Bash will take place on Monday 30^th June and Tuesday the 1^st of July at Turoa Ski Field, Mt Ruapehu (with Wednesday the 2^nd as a contingency day for bad weather).

Mon 30th June: GS Ski and Board

Tues 1st July: Hike & Huck Rail Jam Ski and Board

Wed 2nd July: Contingency Day

Timeline:

Original registration forms sent to USNZ by Monday 23^rd June (or delivered to USNZ staff at Turoa on Monday 30^th June)

Registration fees per competitor are as follows:

Registration Fee for University members: $25.00
Registration fee for Auckland University: $37.50
Registration fee for non-Universities: $50.00

Registrations close on Friday the 20^th of June, late entries will be accepted up until 8am Monday 30^th June, but will incur an additional 50% charge on top of normal registration fee rate.

Lift Passes:

$41.50 for one day lift pass, this price is only valid on the days of the events
